From Gronowicz for Mayor:
It looks like the doors may be opening slightly for my campaign, as well as for our other NYC Green Party candidates. Just today I received invitations to two mayoral candidate forums:
- Sunday June 2nd, 4-7pm at Christopher Columbus High School, 925 Astor Ave in the Bronx
- Friday June 14th, 6-8pm, mayoral candidate forum on Education at Murray Bergtraum High School, 411 Pearl St. in Manhattan
As rights continue to erode, and ecological destruction and political and social conflicts increase, voters are turning away in larger and larger numbers from the two corporate parties and looking to alternatives for answers. Our Green Party programs are being looked at with much more interest now than in the past.
My campaign will continue to focus on what I consider to be the five most important issues at this time – my “five-fingered exercise”: Secure, Living Wage Jobs; Free Education and Health Care for all; Safe and Secure Housing; and a Clean,Healthy and Sustainable Environment. These are all basic human rights for which there can be no compromise. I’m encouraged by and eager to take these opportunities to get our message out to the public.
